Florida or Bust - Day #2 Exploring Ft. Myers

Ft. Myers....yes there is an actual fort there. It was occupied by Union soldiers! And the Confederate army could not oust them! Listen the heat and humidity would have ousted me for sure. It was a pleasant trip, visiting family, reconnecting but boy, oh boy the heat in July is oppressive! We spent the 4th of July in Ft. Myers and had a chance to explore downtown with its Bohemian shops, trinket stores, and local "British" Yes,,,,,British pub which is where we had our lunch. : ) I also picked up two pieces of local jewelry that I will be using for my 1000 Subscriber giveaway, coming up at the end of this month! It was nice to buy my subbies something from Ft. Myers and our Florida trip.
